With the latest release of the SPORTident Orienteering App (R276) come new possibilities. Score-O and Rogaining trainings and competitions can now be managed with the app. In this context, SPORTident Center allows for a great visual representation of the results of these two forms of Orienteering by displaying the individual route choices on the map.
A Score-O or Rogaining competition can either be created in OCAD, starting with the course layout, or directly in the O-App. The map and courses created in OCAD are uploaded as usual to SPORTident Center. When opening the O-App and confirming the popped up dialog "Import new event from SPORTident Center?", the data is downloaded into the O-App.
The imported or newly created competition can be further configured in the "Event setup" area with the familiar menu "EVENT", "CLASSES" and "SERVICE". Under the tab "CLASSES" classes and courses can be created and edited. In addition to the classic Orienteering "Default" course type, "Score-O (ranking by time)" and "Rogaining (ranking by score)" can now also be selected there. There is also the option to specify target scores, time limits and penalties.
Registering competitors and reading out SI-Cards is handled as with any other competition managed in the O-App. Depending on your settings, the app automatically publishes results to SPORTident Center as they come in.
QR codes with direct result links can be published for participants to analyse their results and compare their route choices. By scanning the QR code, the participant immediately gets to the results and can look at them in detail on his or her mobile phone in the three sections "Overview", "Analysis" and "Map".
In the "Overview", the respective class and participant can be selected in order to view personal split times. "Analysis" visualises these split times graphically and puts them in relation to other competitors.
To make the results presentation perfect, it is possible to display the individual route choices on the "Map". The Spectromap allows you to visualise performance on individual legs by a number of metrics such as position, speed and time relative to the best time on that leg.

General conditions of participation in the raffle:
Participation in the raffle of SPORTident GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organiser, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.
The duration of the competition is from 25.08.2023, 00:01 a.m. to 06.10.2023, 23:59 p.m.. During this period, users will have the opportunity to enter the raffle.
In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to upload a complete Score-O or Rogaining competition to SPORTident Center. Participation is only possible within the entry period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.
Only one submitted entry per participant will be entered into the competition.
Participation is open to natural persons who have reached the age of 18. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organiser and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
Should a participant be restricted in his/her legal capacity, the consent of his/her legal representative is required.
All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of the operator as well as their family members are not eligible to participate in the competition. In addition, the operator reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, for example (a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition, (b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair conduct or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
The winners will be determined after the closing date by means of a random draw among all participants. Only those participants who have correctly completed the task and given the correct answer will be entered into the raffle.
The winners of the raffle will be informed about the winnings in a timely manner via the SPORTident Facebook and Instagram account.
The winnings will only be handed over to the winner or the winner's legal representative. An exchange or cash payment of the winnings is not possible.
Any costs incurred for the dispatch of the winnings will be borne by the operator. Any additional costs associated with claiming the winnings shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the winnings.
If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of 3 weeks, the prize may be transferred to another participant.
Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participant assures that the personal details provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname and email address, are true and correct.
The organiser points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without their consent.
In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organiser. This includes the announcement of the winner on the website of the Operator and its social media platforms.
The participant may revoke his/her declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the operator. After revocation of consent, the participant's personal data collected and stored will be deleted immediately.

The operator's raffle is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
Severability clause
Should any provision of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions of participation. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that most closely approximates the economic intent and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
