At SPORTident we are building the next generation of our core hardware products, the SPORTident Card and the SPORTident Station. We will extend their functionality to enable exciting new applications, target more sports and make them more connected – all while keeping the user-friendliness, simplicity and longevity that has made them so successful over the past two decades.

We are looking for an embedded hardware engineer to drive and design these product innovations together with our experienced team of embedded hardware, embedded software, app, and cloud developers.

Your responsibilities

  • Design of printed circuit boards with a focus on ultra-low power consumption and radio technologies (RFID, BLE, LTE, long-range)
  • Prototyping and testing of designs
  • Selection of components and advice and support for sourcing
  • Contribute to the development of housing and firmware
  • Contribute to the technical realisation and organisation of production for batch sizes ranging from 1,000 to 30,000 pieces per year

Your qualifications

  • Experience in working with electronic hardware and designing PCBs
  • Familiarity with working in an agile development team
  • Completed engineering degree
  • Interest in sports and technology
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and work on challenging projects
