arntech GmbH announces acquisition of EMIT AS
The German company arntech GmbH is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of the Norwegian company EMIT AS.
The acquisition of EMIT AS is expected to open new markets for EMIT products and give benefits for future development of timing products from SPORTident GmbH (sister company of arntech GmbH) and EMIT AS.
The collaboration will strengthen the development of orienteering products for international orienteering. The collaboration will also support the development of time keeping products for new markets.
“Our goal is to form a strong and independent European based development and production group of companies able to meet the requirements and expectations of our customers with advanced personalised products and services and to act successfully in an international context”, says Siegfried Ritter, Managing Director of arntech GmbH.
“We are excited about the possibilities that this acquisition brings to the development and sales of timing products for EMIT AS,” adds a satisfied Tommy Jauhojärvi, CEO of EMIT AS. “We are also happy that our new owners have faith in our products and want to continue to develop them further together with us”.
SPORTident looks positive into the future. After more than 20 years as the main shareholder and one of the driving forces of Emit AS Sven Marti decided to step down as the main capital holder. Arntech is very thankful for Sven Marti’s longstanding leadership and his confidence in handing over responsibility.
