USB Driver blocked

The SPORTident USB Windows driver can get blocked on some Windows systems. Effectively, the BSM8-USB mini Reader, the BSM7-USB Station, and the SRR USB Dongle will not work on affected systems.

Update 16 June 2026: A new version of the driver is available that fixes this issue. Please install the updated driver.

Update 23 May 2026: If you are affected, we now provide a tool to get SPORTident devices working again on your computer. If you are affected, please follow the workaround in our SPORTident Documentation.

We are working with Microsoft on a solution for this issue.
